My business technology internship role within ET involved working on ERP client projects. I contributed to a pre-study recommendation on implementing the SAP S/4HANA IT software for a life sciences client, where I collaborated with the project manager on the business case, process master list and change management deliverables. I also worked on recommending an IT software vendor for the ERP transformation of a public sector client, where I worked on finance processes, prepared maturity assessments, and facilitated workshops. Lastly, I supported the business development of a data literacy campaign, where I applied UI experience to design assets within Capgemini branding to extend the offering’s outreach.

DE skills, particularly iteration, communication, and t-shaped skills, allowed a holistic approach to problem solving. To facilitate client-centricity, methods such as maturity assessments, benchmarking and workshops were leveraged. The DE customer-facing skills helped formulate insights and transform these into user stories, pain points and IT software requirements.

Overall, my consistent work in SAP S/4HANA advisory client projects and proposals have contributed to the organization’s long-term growth and to the ERP industry in Switzerland. Especially after working on proposals for the ERP transformation of a public sector client, it was highly rewarding to win the project together as a team.
