Else London

Most of my time at Else was spent working as an interaction designer as part of the embedded design team for Priority, VMO2’s loyalty and rewards programme. I would attend weekly stand-ups to receive design tasks to work on, which were often mapped out using the double diamond design model. Most tasks involved using Figma where I have strengthened my skills in interaction design fundamentals and have become proficient in designing with components, auto-layout, and libraries. I designed an extremely detailed slide deck for the client to use internally as an onboarding document for the platform. This enabled me to make use of a detailed design system and create bespoke assets. Other design tasks included aiming to improve the overall experience of the Priority app by adding personalised moments of delight. This led to the production of a fully animated prototype on Figma of the design solution, as well as a presentation of designed screens from the app itself that implemented my designs. I also used research methods such as lateral reviews, surveys, and card sort exercises, executed on Miro and Optimal Workshop. On R&D days, I assisted in developing a product that helps people living with dementia complete daily tasks independently.
