As an equity analyst in the Investment Banking department, my role involves assistingcompanies with their financing, including initial public offerings (IPO), mergers andacquisitions, and buybacks. During my internship, my primary focus was on the IPO business, which is a long-term endeavor in line with the Chinese stock public offering process. This process typically comprises three main stages:

1. Contracting: This involves engaging with potential target companies, researching theirbusinesses, and creating a Pitchbook. The aim is to secure the opportunity to undertakethe business and conduct a roadshow with the company's CEO.

2. After securing the business opportunity, we need to organize and lead a team inperforming due diligence on the target company. This process includes but not limits toits business operations, managements, finances, facilities, and products. The goal is togain a comprehensive understanding of the company and determine the appropriatestock exchange for listing.

3. When the results confirm the company's eligibility for listing, the due diligence teamexpands, and the team begins the process of relocating to the company's site to initiatethe IPO process, which typically spans 1-2 years to list successfully.
